Hi AI Pioneer,

Hi everyone! Wishing you all a fantastic Thanksgiving Break next week (for those in the States). Please note, there won’t be a newsletter next week, but we’ll be back the following week. We are incredibly thankful for each and every one of you! Take this time to relax, enjoy your loved ones, and savor the well-deserved rest.

📌 THIS WEEK’S Updates: 

  1. Please Register for our Final Pioneer Meetup of 2024!

    We will spend some time learning about exciting updates coming in 2025 as well as looking at some proposed changes to the AI Pioneer program. We would LOVE for you to be there to make your voice heard!

  1. Join us on Blue Sky! Blue Sky is another social media platform that is similar to X(Twitter), however, it functions differently which makes it easier to stay up to date with the people you want to connect with most. There has bee a very large surge of users (especially educators) recently. We would LOVE for you to join us!

    We are creating what is called a “starter pack” for our AI Pioneers. The starter pack will be displayed on our MagicSchool account and will make it easier for you to connect and follow other AI Pioneers. It is basically a list of users that people can refer to and follow. If our level of participation grows on this new platform, we will begin utilizing it more for communication, online, events, and more! If you frequent Facebook or other forms of Social Media, do not worry! We plan to continue with those platforms moving forward as well :).

    If you want to be added to the Starter Pack, simply make an account and send us a message :).

Attention all UK MagicSchool Users! Our friend and fellow Pioneer Sean McLaughlin is looking for educators using Magic Student in the UK! He is putting together a research study and would appreciate your assistance if you are interested! Specifically, he is seeking out secondary educators in the UK, teaching Year 7 to Year 11 to participate. This will involve interviews, focus groups, and potentially student participation with parental consent. The project will run from December 9, 2024, to January 11, 2025.
